Adelaide has a great range of things to do and see that...
Adelaide has a great range of things to do and see that should satisfy all travellers (old and young). There is art and culture through to food and wine both in the city and surrounding districts. It has a relaxed 'safe' feeling about it and is easily accessed with a pretty good public transport system. There are plenty of food venues of which none disappointed.

Adelaide is a hidden gem!
Adelaide is a hidden gem! A great town, big enough to be cosmopolitan, small enough to have a warmth about it. It is surrounded by world-renowned and picturesque wine growing regions (some less than an hour's drive from the centre of town) and it has a vibrant bar and restaurant culture. There is always some kind of festival going on; just walk the streets and you'll find an event. If great food & wine, and general joie de vivre are your things, get to Adelaide asap!

I love the smiles, friendliness, and goodness I see in...
I love the smiles, friendliness, and goodness I see in people. I love the new buildings being colourful and pretty, I think the transport system is fantastic and contrary to what travel agents tell, there is so much to see in this beautiful, clean and easy to walk around city. I love it so much, I have put my house for sale in Melbourne to move near the CBD, to Mount Barker.
We stay at Adelaide Intercontinental at least a couple of times a year for a mini City break and just love the amenities it offers. The room is superb - quiet, cosy and well laid out. The bathroom has a shower and a bath which is just great as a lot of hotels don't have that (shower only). As for the breakfast - THE BEST ever!! Never fails to impress us the quality of the food on offer and the high sense of courteousness delivered by the staff. Love this hotel and we will keep coming back!!
The Grand Chancellor is in an excellent Adelaide CBD location - easy walking distance to sights, bars, restaurants, etc.. (Note though that it is in the red light area). The rooms are unusually large, with 2 very comfortable queen beds and well-priced, with onsite parking available at reasonable cost. Staff were helpful and there is a comfortable lobby bar. Our only small gripe was that the room cleaning was a little slapdash, with bin not emptied and water glass not removed and replaced.
There were a number of things. Firstly, the location of the hotel is great, it is near cafes and restaurants (if you didn't want to eat at the Hotel). We discovered we were very close to a number of places that would keep everyone entertained including an Escape room, indoor golf and Rundle Mall. We decided to take a 15min walk to the Adelaide Zoo! The TRYP staff were all lovely, very friendly and helpful. We also liked the 1st floor terrace where we enjoyed after diner drinks.
The location is close to the city and we were traveling from NSW where the hotel is on the same road connecting to Adelaide CBD. The facilities for great with all needs were provisioned and the rooms and living hall was large. Also the the kitchen appliances were very clean. Parking though had to pay $10 per day it was worth having reserved parking. Electric charging spots are available for Electric cars which is a good option for those who drive such vehicles.
Excellent location near Adelaide CBD, in front of a beautiful park. Public transport (buses) available at the doorsteps. Friendly reception staff who were very quick to help/sort out queries. Punctual and efficient room cleaning service. Ample parking space for the cars. Room allocated to me was more spacious than I expected. Can avail Uber eats and other services to deliver food items from many CBD and surrounding hotels at nominal delivery charges.
The room was by far better than any other CBD hotel in Adelaide due to the view, room size and fit out. I stayed with a girlfriend and we had so much room, plenty of space to chill out and drink wine whilst looking over the River Torrens and Adelaide Oval. The staff at EOS are amazing, their eagerness to help, please and ensure you have a wonderful stay is so noticeable. We were nothing less than highly impressed. thank you!
I love staying in this small boutique hotel that has friendly staff, is always clean, in a great CBD location and excellent value for money. I have stayed here dozens of times since it first opened. I also love the heritage facade and the history of what the building original built to house - an orphanage.
Small hotel with only 4 levels but very clean with comfortable beds. In a very quiet location next to the TAFE. A short walk to the train station making the commute into Adelaide very easy. Whilst we didn't eat at the hotel it has a small restaurant with a bar serving breakfast and light meals.
Looks like a lot of thought has gone into the layout, decor & ambience, it has a really fun, relaxed vibe, furniture & bar area didn't feel like we were in a hotel but rather a trendy bar
Great location to be able to enjoy Adelaide's night life & great pool area
Perfect size room, huge bathroom
Location - 5 min walk to Glenelg beach and shops, about half an hour drive to CBD
Relatively quiet - not on the main street
Smart TV with Netflix👍
Quite many dishes and cutlery
Self check-in
Password on the room door instead of keys or plastic cards - very convenient
Great hotel and good location close to CBD. Always stay at The Arkaba when I travel to Adelaide. Staff were exceptional throughout from room service through to the bar, restaurant and check-in. Managed to book us in for additional night after our flight was cancelled.
Great location for the busy Adelaide CBD.
You’re about 150-200m away from everything you need; groceries, shopping, restaurants, and even entertainment too!
Small but to the point and perfect for a weekend in the city.
The room was clean and very suitable for our stay. the bed was very comfortable and the location of the Hotel is great just a short walk to catch the tram into the city or to go to Glenelg which meant no parking fees.
The best thing about this hotel is the extremely friendly reception personnel and good location to Adelaide CBD. Room is clean and spacious enough but nothing special to write home about. It's okay for short stays.
The room on the first floor of an older style hotel was rennovated with modern facilities and friendly staffs. The location is perfect, in the City Centre, next to the Adelaide Central Bus Station.
The hotel is centrally located within adelaide CBD, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helped us out with every small request.
